Lucknow, Apr 21: Seven people died and at least 34 were injured after a bus rammed into a truck on the Agra-Lucknow Expressway near Mainpuri. The accident took place during the early hours on Sunday.
The identities of those killed are yet to be ascertained.
In another road accident on Saturday, an 18-year old boy died while two were left injured in New Delhi. "The incident occurred at around 5:40 am near Jwalaheri market chowk on road no. 30. A damaged white coloured Honda City car was found from the spot," a senior police official had said.
The deceased was identified as 18-year-old Himanshu whereas the injured persons were 21-year-old Sahib and 18-year-old Jayant.
Earlier on April 11, eight people had lost their lives and two were left injured after a speeding Ertica car rammed into a truck on the Agra-Lucknow Expressway in Fatehabad. Six people had died on the spot while two lost lives on way to the hospital.
