Mangalore, Dec 12: Aam Aadmi Party workers in Mangalore celebrated their stunning performance in the Delhi assembly poll by organizing a torchlight parade.
The party activists wearing white caps and broomsticks raised slogans across the street from Jyothi circle to Town Hall celebrating the success.
Addressing the jubilant workers, Srinivasan Nandagopal, joint secretary of the party said that AAP's entry into political scenario at Delhi has heralded a new political revolution in the country.
District convener Robert Rosario said that though party was formed a year ago, it was decided not to contest any elections. “We were waiting for Delhi results for further step and now with the thumping victory we would contest Lok Sabha elections,” he said.
Party leaders Ajay Kumar, Sulochana, Vinod Rao, Dharmenda and others were present.
