Every cricket match between India and Pakistan is quite a tense situation for cricket fans, cricket experts, among others from both the countries. Rivalry between India and Pakistan in cricket is a popular topic of discussion on Indian news channels. Sometimes, these discussions turn into harsh arguments and verbal fights.

Such an incident occurred when former Pakistan cricketer Shoaib Akhtar got angry on an Indian news anchor while answering a question on India vs Pakistan match. The incident occurred on the day of India vs Pakistan match of super four round in the ongoing Asia Cup 2018.

Shoaib Akhtar was part of a talk show of a popular Hindi news channel and he got angry on a female anchor for asking him a question in a wrong manner. Before the start of the super 4 match, the news anchor lauded India’s performance against Pakistan in the previous match. She compared India’s victory with Swachh Bharat Abhiyan in India and asked Shoaib if Pakistan is ready to face defeat against India again.

In response, Shoaib Akhtar got angry on the news anchor asking her to maintain dignity and behave properly. He said that it is better if the questions are asked on cricket and not some Swachh Bharat mission. He also mentioned that he is not a state or club level cricketer and the anchor should realise to whom the question is being asked. Have a look at the video below.

Former Indian cricketer Gautam Gambhir was also part of the talk show. This is not the first time Shoaib Akhtar has got angry on live television. In the past too, he got angry on Star Sports anchor Jatin Sapru who laughed while asking a question to him after the defeat of Pakistan against India in World Cup 2015. India defeated Pakistan two times in the ongoing Asia Cup 2018 tournament. India is set to play the finals and the opponent will be the winner of Pakistan vs Bangladesh match, which is set to be played today.
