Bengali actress Swastika Mukherjee gets into trouble over allegations of shoplifting

Mumbai, Nov 5: Swastika Mukherjee, the Bengali actress, who will be starring opposite Sushant Singh, in the upcoming film Byomkesh Bakshi, seems to be controversy’s favourite child.

Recently, on a trip to Singapore, the actress was accused of shoplifting.

Swastika, along with boyfriend Suman Mukherjee (a National Award winning actor) was in Singapore to attend the Darpan Film Festival.

Apparently, after the event, the actress headed to a jewellery store where she was allegedly caught shoplifting earrings.

According to reports, the actress did not want to comment on the issue and also “requested” people not to contact her about the same.
