Bengaluru techie pulled out of his car , murdered

Bengaluru, Nov 6: A software engineer, 33, was suspected to have been pulled out of his car and stabbed to death on Hoodi main road, off KR Puram, on Wednesday night. Prajeeth Anand, from Kerala, was staying with his parents in Ayyappa Nagar, near KR Puram. He used to work for an IT major.

Around 9.15pm, locals saw the body of Prajeeth in a pool of blood on the road and alerted police. Cops found an injury mark on the neck and suspected he was hacked to death.

Quoting his family , police said Prajeeth had returned home from work around 8.30pm. He told his parents that he was going to meet a friend and drove out.

It is suspected that as he was driving, he was waylaid and attacked. Police are yet to ascertain if it was a case of armed robbery .Cops haven't found if any of his belongings are missing.
