Bengaluru, Nov 22: Stepping up preparations for the 2019 Lok Sabha elections, the Bharatiay Janata Party State unit on Wednesday appointed poll in-charge leaders and conveners for all the 28 Lok Sabha seats in Karnataka.
While the party made the appointments in most states several months ago, the announcement comes last in Karnataka. Sources said the leaders had kept the decision pending owing to the Assembly elections in May, followed by the bypolls to five constituencies.
These leaders would coordinate with the State unit as well as local units of the party with respect to election preparations besides monitoring such preparations.
Some of the prominent personalities who have been appointed in-charge leaders are:

Arvind Limbavali (Tumakuru)

Similarly, prominent conveners include R. Ashok (Bengaluru South) and Kota Srinivas Poojary (Udupi–Chikkamagluru).
