Belagavi, Dec 20: The JD(S) Karnartaka President H Vishwanath today alleged that the opposition BJP has failed to make better use of the ongoing Winter Session which is held here since December 10.
Speaking to newsmen, he said that the Opposition BJP had played a spoilsport in the session on which the people of the Northern Karnataka had high hopes.
“The BJP instead of acting as a constructive one, had thwarted the ruling coalition government to find solutions to various burning issues pertaining to the Northern Karnataka region”.
The prominent issues including that of agrarian crisis, under-development of the region and slowing down of employment opportunities, were not brought to the center stage of the session for debate, he added.
Squarely blaming the BJP for not allowing the State government and the Chief minister for a meaningful discussion on various issues in the session, Several other issues, including land holding, survey of both private and revenue land should have received the attention of the members in finding solutions to the problems.
