Wild animals killed in road accidents at Bandipur National Park

Chamarajanagara, Mar 14: After forests fires destroyed thousands of acres in Bandipur National Park which was successfully controlled, the reserve which has one of the highest tigers in the wild in the country is now witnessing road accidents that killed three wild animals during the last one week. 

In a fresh incident yesterday, a spotted deer calf was mowed down by a speeding vehicle.

Bandipur Tiger Reserve officials said that incident happened near the water body (Bandipur Kere) close to project director’s office.
