Abu Dhabi, Jan 27: The Bearys Welfare Forum (BWF), a socio-cultural group of the Beary community organized ‘Seerat-un-Nabi’ programme highlighting the teachings of Islam and Prophet Mohamed in Abu Dhbai recently.
In his inaugural address Mangaluru Khazi Thwaqa Ahmed Musliyar called upon the Muslims to acquired knowledge from Quran.
Speaking on the theory of evolution of Charles Darwin, he said that the Darwinism theory cannot scientifically explain how life originated on Earth. No scientific finding shows that the “evolutionary mechanism” proposed by the theory have any evolutionary power at all.
BWF president Mohamed Ali Uchil presided over the function and delivered welcome address.
Delivering the keynote address, Advocate Haneef Irshadi Hudavi, Delampady, said that Bearys Welfare Forum is carrying forward and reviving the rich tradition of Beary Community which is tolerance and co existence, and has been serving the poorest of the poor in the community. It is noteworthy that BWF is arranging social and cultural programmes. The mass marriage of 83 poor girls and the ‘Shouchalaya project’ are among great achievements of BWF, he said.
He also highlighted the greatness, simplicity and life aspects of Prophet Muhammad (pbuh). Speaking on the contemporary issues of the Muslim community, he emphasized to keep patience in every aspects of life, which is basic principal of Islam.
The function started with Quran recitation by Brother Abdul Basit. Mohamed Rafique Krishnapur, Vice President, BWF compared the programme.
Abdulla Madumoole, General Secretary, BWF, spoke on the current turbulence in the society and advised how to overcome it peacefully, following the teachings of the Prophet (pbuh).
On the same occasion Mohammed Ali Uchil symbolically released the Android Application of the Kannada translation of the holy Quran. The Android Application ‘Pavithra Quran’ is the e-version of the Quran translation published by Mangaluru based Shanthi Prakashana.
Siddiq Uchil along with Abdul Rauf , Imran Ahmed, Nazeer Ubar, V.K.Rasheed and Jaleel Krishnapur coordinated the programme. BWF vice president Hamza A Khader, Treasurer Mohammed Siddiq Kaup, Mohammed Kallpu and Basheer Bajpe originated the programme. BWF executives, Abdul Majeed, Ismail Shimoga, Majeed Athoor, Hameed Gurupur, Haneef Ullal Abdul Rasheed Bijai, and Nawaj Uchl, were instrumental in organizing the function. Nearly 200 people attended the programme. Jaleel Krishnapur proposed the vote of thanks.
