Students of Srinivas Institute bag national award for best documented project

Mangaluru: The students of Architecture Department of Srinivas Institute of Technology, Mangaluru have bagged a national award for the Best Documented Project instituted by Council of Architecture, New Delhi. The documentation was mainly focused on architectural heritage in India and students documented project titled “Documentation of Rosario Cathedral, Mangaluru”.

The Certificate of Excellence & a cash prize of Rs.75,000/- was awarded at the ceremony held at NDMC Convention Center, New Delhi.

The winning team comprised of 12 students of architecture department presented the document under the guidance of Ar. Caroline D’Souza, Conservation Architect & Associate Professor of the Department.

The HOD, Ar. Vasudev Shet, Dean Ar. Kumarchandra Dept. of Architecture, Dr. Shrinivasa Mayya D, Principal of the College and Management of Srinivas Group of Colleges were heartily congratulated the students for their hard work and achievement.
