A purported video of the incident, which occurred at a bakery in Bhosari area on August 15, has gone viral, while the three accused have been arrested, police said.

According to an official of Bhosari police station, the accused went to the bakery and demanded 'vargani' (donation) of Rs 151 from the workers for the Ganesh festival.

The workers, who are non-Maharashtrians, said the owner of the shop was not there and hence they did not give the donation, the official said.

Following the denial for donation, the accused, identified as Prakash Landage (30), Ganesh Landage (30) and Mahesh Mare (31), abused the workers and later made them to do sit-ups, the official said.

A complaint was filed by one of the workers, Irshad Mommammed Ayub Khan, and a case under IPC sections 294 (obscene act or words in public), 341 (wrongful confinement), 385 (extortion) and 506 (criminal intimidation) was registered, the official said, adding investigations are underway.

PREM,
Even if God comes himself and tells them, they will not agree.
For them is the Ayat:-
Say, O disbelievers
I do not worship what you worship
Nor are you worshipers of what I worship.
Nor I will be a worshiper of what you worship.
For you is your religion and for me is my religion.

Our job is to give only message. Rest is Allah who will enlighten them. It's between them and their creator.
Not to worry too much if Allah sends him to Hell. It's his wish.

If you think Ganesha is your God then you should question yourself. Y cant Ganesh fix his elephant head to a human head?
Is nt it logic and just. How can we depend on such god who doesnt know to fix himself.. U may be angry with me for this but read vedas too , its written there is no image of God.

God doesnt have any image (NA TASYA PRATIMA ASTI-There is no image of GOD) . How can you guys not use your intellect & Verify why your own book says there is no image of God...

A kind advice Dont worship the images or people its just a man made creation.. God will show us his sign when we try to know about him (Read all religious book) and he will surely show his attributes in our life.

Mangaluru, May 6: A five-year-old girl from Arendur village of Siddapura taluk of Uttara Kannada district died of Kyasanur Forest Disease (monkey fever) recently.

As her health deteriorated, she was admitted to the KMC Hospital in Mangaluru, where she failed to respond to the treatment and died on Friday night.

It is learned that the KFD is slowly spreading to the newer areas of coastal and malnad areas of Karnataka

According to officials, KFD spreads due to bites of ticks that generally survive on monkeys. This tick bites humans which causes the infection. Humans also contract the disease by coming in contact with cattle bitten by ticks.
