Mangalore wakes up to another brutal murder

Mangalore, December 5: The coastal city woke up to news of a brutal murder on Monday.

A middle aged man was found bludgeoned to death with a sharp stone near Mari Gudi temple at Urva, Mangalore.

Police identified the deceased as Mohammed, who was working for a soft drink company.


The incident came to light at around 6 a.m., when the temple goers witnessed the dead body.

Sources said that the incident might have occurred in the intervening night of Sunday and Monday.

Personnel from Barke and Urva police station rushed to the spot. The body has been shifted to a mortuary. More details are awaited.
