Bhatkal, January 15: Two women were seriously injured when a monkey attacked them at Belni village in Mavinakurva Gram Panchayat area in Bhatkal taluk.
The injured women have been identified as Malii Durgappa Kharvi (60) and Shivamma Dewadiga (45).
The monkey entered their house and attacked them. On hearing their screams for help, neighbours rushed to their rescue.
