Udupi, April 10: A worker from Bagalkot district was found murdered in a house at the Katte Acharya Road here on Monday.
The Udupi Town Police gave the name of the dead man as Basava (40).
It is said that his employer, Shaukat Ali, who runs a transport firm saw Parveen Kapoor having dinner in the house while Prabhu from Haveri was waiting outside on the night of Sunday.
However, when Mr. Ali went to the house next morning, he saw Basava lying in a pool of blood.
