Youth found dead on railway track

Mangalore, April 11: A youth was found dead on railway track between Bantwal and Padil on Tuesday.

The deceased has been identified as Krishna (26), an electrician by profession.

It is suspected that he was hit by a moving train.

Sources at the Government Railway Police Station said that Krishna had gone to see the fair in Polali on Monday.

He had told his parents that he would return home, which was abutting the railway track early on Tuesday morning.

Around 7 a.m. on Tuesday Krishna was found dead near the railway track.
