Udupi, June 8: Thieves broke into a house at Barkur village near Brahmavar in Udupi district and decamped with gold ornaments.
According to the police, thieves broke into the house of D.K. Badeger at Kaveri Bai Compound near National Pre-University College at Barkur between 1 p.m. on June 4 and 9 a.m. on June 7.
The value of stolen items has been estimated at Rs. 3.5 lakh.
