Teen pushed out of train, falls 25 feet onto a river bed

Mysore, July 25: A 19-year-old girl was pushed out of a train in Karnataka by four men who tried to molest her. She has been hospitalised and is being treated for injuries to her head and backbone.

Her attackers have been arrested.

The police say the victim was pushed out of the Yeshwantpur-Mysore Express train near Maddur, about 63 km from Mysore on Tuesday. She fell 25 feet and landed on a dry river bed.


She works as a tailor at a garment factory in Bangalore, and was travelling to her hometown of Mysore to spend time with her grandmother.
