Bijapur, Jun 24: Four persons were killed on the spot when their four-wheeler collided with an oncoming lorry near Horti on NH-13 in the wee hours of Sunday.
The deceased are identified as Anand Shnataiah Hiremath (35), Mallikarjun Tammanna Kalasad (36), Subhash Veerappa Karabantanal (43) and Sunil Badarinarayan Suresh Putani (35), the residents of Bijapur city. They were on their way to Shirdi when the accident took place. Horti police are investigating the case.
