Kozhikode Mar 16: A Dubai-bound passenger from Karipur airport arrested by the Customs officials on Saturday for allegedly trying to smuggle foreign currency notes.
Concealed inside the clothes in his hand baggage, the currencies included UAE Dirham, Kuwait Dinar, Ponds and Bahrain Dinar.
The airline authorities who intercepted the passenger from boarding the flight handed over the accused to the Customs officials.
