He was speaking to the devotees who had come by walk from Janardhan Swami Temple in Ujire to Dharmasthala, at Amruthavarshini Sabha Bhavan on Thursday.
“From the last one and a half months my mind has been blocked. My thinking has been affected. However, truth will always prevail. In a few days, the truth will be out. All confusions, suspicions will come to an end. I have not protected any criminal and hence I do not have any guilt," said.
"My silence is the answer for everything. Manjunatheshwara knows the truth and he is with me," he said.
People have become suspicious, bitter and spiteful. However, I have not blamed or hated anyone. All my sufferings, I offer to God, he said.
"Though I am disappointed with the negative publicity, I have continued with the good work. I have requested MLA K Vasanth Bangera to stop the bad publicity with regard to Dharmasthala," he said.
The state-level exhibition held as a part of the Lakshadeepotsava was inaugurated by Holy Redeemer Church Parish Priest Rev Fr James D'Souza.
"Exhibition helps creating awareness on culture, traditions, art and folk-life. It helps in increasing knowledge and getting the youth in touch with their roots," Fr James D'Souza said.
"Practical viewing helps one to understand things better than reading literature," said Dharmadhikari Veerendra Heggade presiding over the programme.
