Ajmer, Aug 24: Former Prime Minister H D Deve Gowda, his son and Karnataka Chief Minister H D Kumaraswamy along with their family members recently under took a pilgrimage to two holy places in Rajasthan. The family travelled along with their palmist.
The family conducted a special ritual for two hours in a closed room at Brahma temple in Pushkar on Thursday.
In the evening, they also went to Ajmer dargah and offered prayers and a chaddar. Meanwhile, the family gave a miss to prayers at Pushkar Sarovar.
Heavy security was in place at Ajmer and Pushkar for the visit of Karnataka CM and his family.
Sources said this ritual was prescribed by the palmist who had come from New Delhi with Kumarswamy and was meant to remove hurdles in running the Karnataka government.
Brahma temple remained closed for common people for two hours while Karnataka CM and his family remained inside.
Talking to media, HDK said that he went offer his gratitude there. He said that coalition with Congress in Karnataka will continue and both parties would contest the next Lok Sabha elections together.
