With DFoE, SDM Management College strives for digitization of curriculum

Mangalore, Dec 15: Sri Dharmasthala Manjunatheshwara College of Business Management, Post Graduate Centre for Management Studies and Research is all set for transforming management education through digitisation of curriculum in the academic year 2014-15.
The platform to transform classrooms has been abstracted and created by a Bangalore based firm Digital Future of Education Pvt. Ltd. (DFoE) founded by Gowdhaman Margabandu, CEO and promoted by Naveen Kumar, marketing executive of DFoE. New software, which is called as its first in its kind in state going to be adopted by SDM, College, Mangalore.
K Devaraj, Director, PG Centre briefing about new change adopted in education system said SDM PG Centre Mangalore strives to make a novel initiative, which is the first of its kind in the state and perhaps the entire education fraternity in India for its implementation method, he said.
The new method is expected to enrich the classroom experience of both the faculty and students alike in a never before manner, exploring the inventiveness, enthusiasm and the urge-to-learn attributes of the students along with innovations in teaching and continuum of improvisation in the approaches and techniques of delivering education by the faculty and researchers, Devaraj added.
New system DFoE is deeply focused on transforming education in India through solutions customised for tablet computing devices.
DFoE's solution enables the institution to manage the complete process end to end including automated attendance, closed loop classroom education with internet free classroom synchronisation and control, in classroom exams, evaluation and aspect weakness analysis, wireless multimedia projections all with the ease of a touch or two in a highly secure environment, Gowdhaman added.
