New Delhi, Jun 23: After India losing the series against Bangladesh on Sunday, long-standing ODI skipper MS Dhoni had offered to step down, if BCCI asks him. The Indian team is facing criticism from all sides after losing the series.

Meanwhile, MS Dhoni’s personal coach Chanchal Bhattacharya has claimed the dressing room unrest is taking toll on the Captain Cool’s performance. He also added due to issues in dressing room Dhoni is unable to concentrate on his batting and captaincy.

On Sunday, Bangladesh crushed India in the second ODI to seal a historic win against the former World champions. The defeat has also raised eye brows over team Director Ravi Shastri, who is the front runner for the coach of team India.

During post-match conference, Dhoni said, he would love to step aside and play as a just a player, if Indian cricket will start doing well. He also added, it is important for India to win matches but not who is leading the side. He is happier to play for the country and contribute to a win rather than continuing as skipper.

Last year, MS Dhoni surprised everyone with his sudden announcement of immediate retirement from Test cricket in Australia.
