Bengaluru, Jun 17: Kolkata-based Voler Cars, a large fleet service provider, has now forayed into Bengaluru, offering self-drive rental service of Audi or BMW, for just Rs 240 an hour. “These high-end cars will be available in the city in the next 15 days,” said Voler CEO and founder Vikas Parasrampuria.
Cars will be delivered in three hours at one's doorstep with full fuel. The price point starts from Rs 30 to Rs 240 per hour depending on the model.
“Cars can be booked by depositing Rs 5,000, which is refundable and customers have to refill fuel before handing over the car,” he said, adding unlike other self-drive rental services, the company's name will not be displayed in these cars. “Voler was founded in 2010 and it meansto fly' in French,” he said.
Currently, Voler's fleet ranges from Nano, i10, Toyota Fortuner, Audi and BMW, along with others. “We want to give people the opportunity to define their own routes and journeys,” said Parasrampuria.
