Dubai: The United Arab Emirates committee of the Dakshina Kananda based Al Qadisa Educational Academy had recently organised Mahfil-e-Muhabbat and 45th UAE national day programme at JW Marriot Hotel in Dubai.
Inaugurating the event with his ‘dua’, Ibrahim Musliyar Bekal, the Khazi of Udupi hailed the works of Al Qadisa such as construction of bus shelter, taking care of orphan and mentally challenged children and providing them education etc.
U T Khader, Minister for Food and Civil Service, speaking on the occasion called upon the Muslim community members to strengthen the hands of Ulema to serve the ummah.
He also thanked the Indian expatriate workers in UAE who are spending their time and money for the needy people in their homeland.
Prior to this maulid was recited under the leadership of Ibrahim Saqafi Kedumbadi. Farhathul Habeeb Thangal led the burda and naath session. Young kids Aamina Zaithoona and Saara Buraida sang the UAE national anthem.
Maulana Muhammad Fazil Razwi Kawalkatte, architect of Al Qadisa, Aboobakar Padubidri, businessman, among others were honoured on the occasion.
