Bengaluru, Jan 1: Sacked minister Ramesh Jarkiholi, an influential leader in border Belagavi district still remain out of bounds from party leaders after last week’s cabinet expansion in Karnataka.
Mr Ramesh Jarkiholi is elusive to the discomfort of Congress state leadership for the last one week.
His indifference to be in tough with the party leadership has caused much heartburn among the Congress leadership in Karnataka and in Delhi as his rebellion may cause serious discomfort to Janata Dal(S)-Congress coalition government less than one year old.
Mr Ramesh Jarakhiholi, who was sacked as the minister in the last week’s cabinet expansion, continued to remain elusive to the Congress leaders, amid reports that he was in constant touch with the BJP’s central party leaders to destablise the Karnataka government.
However, how many legislators that he command support in case of defection, or what is his next move, is remains to be seen.
