The new centre was inaugurated by Chairman of Reliance Industries Mukesh Ambani and his wife Nita at Arumbakkam near Chennai on Friday.
The college, comprises faculties across the globe, will teach and nurture young musicians. In addition, the institute's studio will also offers high-tech facilities for film and band recordings and sound design. During the function,
Rahaman said the college would also reserve seats for underprivileged children.
Various courses have been designed to equip students with fundamental musical skills and prepare students for the study of music at degree level. The course comprises units in academic skills, music history and analysis, music theory, performance, composition and audio technology.
