Bengaluru, Sept 6: Across the country, thousands have come out to protest the brutal murder of activist-journalist Gauri Lankesh.
Protest meets were held in Chennai, Delhi, Bengaluru, Mysuru, Manglauru Andhra Pradesh, Kerala and other places.
Gauri Lankesh was shot dead by unidentified assailants on September 5. A Special Investigation Team headed by an IG-level officer would be constituted to exclusively investigate the murder of Gauri Lankesh.
