Mangalore, Nov 25: A Hindu convention was organized in Mangalore demanding for a Hindu nation.
Mukhyaprana Temple Priest Gururaj Shastry, Bharat Swabhiman Trust member Dr Jnaneshwar Nayak, Hindu Janajagruti Samiti National spokesperson Ramesh Shinde, advocate Ganesh Shenoy lite the lamp to inaugurate the event. The programme was given a start by blowing conch.
Over 150 Hindus took part in the event.
Jnaneshwar Nayak addressing the gathering said that for the multinational companies venturing into India, the country is only a market.
“There are several foreign brands available in the market with Indian names. We should not buy foreign products but instead should support Indian products by purchasing them” he said.
Committee Member Mohan Gowda said that through the Anti-Superstition Bill an anti-Hindu faction is being built.
Ramesh Shinde said that even while the population of Muslims is only 0.05 pc, a Islamic University is being proposed in Thirupathi, which is of no need.
