Mangalore, Feb 5: After one-and-half years of infamous Mangalore homestay attack, a film will be produced to shed light on the plight of victims.
The suspense cum thriller movie titled 'Home Stay' with tagline 'Saty alive' will be directed by Santhosh. The film will also be remade in Hindi and Tamil languages.
Bollywood actress Sayali Bhagat, who has acted in Hindi films such The Train, Good Luck and Ghost, will have lead role in the film in Kannada and Hindi versions. In Tamil, Shirin will be playing the same role.
Speaking to reporters in Bangalore, Santhosh said, “We are not touching on the developments of rave parties in 'Home Stay' in the recent past. It is cinematic presentation when the female protagonist who come to stay in a far of place after her marriage.”
“It's really nice, to be able to act in a Kannada film. The script is quite interesting and honestly, I couldn't resist it when director Santosh Kodenkeri narrated it to me," said Sayali Bhagat, who has already acted in two Telugu films and one Tamil flick apart from Hindi films.
Ravi Kale and Ashok Balakrishnand will play the lead roles in the Kannada and Tamil versions of the movie and Ashmith Patel is finalized of the Hindi movie.
