Kalaburagi, Feb 21: Congress leader in the Lok Sabha Mallikurjun Kharge today underlined that he will not change his Kalaburagi Lok Sabha constituency and reports appearing in a section of the press of contesting from Kolar is far from truth.

Addressing a press conference here on Thursday, Mr Kharge termed as false the news appearing in a section of the press that he has faced anti-incumbency factor in Kalaburagi Lok Sabaha constituency and will contest from Kolar. " Kalaburgi is my mother land and I was born and brought by the people of Kalaburagi. I never think without Kalaburgi in my political carrier. The Kalaburagi voters are my real god and goddess and in the election even these real god support me or not I will not look for another constituency."

Mr Kharge has credit of winning nine Assembly and two Lok Sabha elections. If he decides to stick with Kalaburagi, then he will have to face Congress rebel candidate Umesh Jadhav , who is most likely to join BJP soon.

Modi failed

Congress Leader in the Lok Sabha M Mallikarjun Kharge on Thursday alleged that Prime Minister Narendra Modi has miserably failed to fulfill BJP's 2014 election promises and advised him to stop lying and misleading people of the country.

Addressing a press conference here, he said Mr Modi failed to create two crore jobs every year as promised to youth in the county. NSSO the government's organisation itself says in its survey that only 27 lakh jobs were created since last four years. Due to Modi's failure to keep up his promise, the educated youths, despite being academically brilliant had to leave their homes in search of jobs.

Referring to 12th Century Social Reformer Basavanna's saying, Mr Kharge said that Mr Modi takes the name of philosopher and poet who also said ‘never be angry, never hate others, don’t boost about yourself and don’t criticise others’”.
