Mangalore, Jul 31: A middle aged expatriate worker hailing from Udupi district has reportedly gone missing in Saudi Arabia while he was employed in a cafeteria.
Ali Moidin Khan, aged 40, had been employed from the past four months in Zam Zam cafeteria at Al-Hasa Al-Umran located in the eastern province of the Kingdom.
Originally hailing from Ajjarakad in Udupi taluk, Ali is said to be mentally imbalanced. His mother Sabira said that he was employed from the past four months in a cafeteria owned by Ummar who hailed from Mangalore.
She said that he had recently obtained a permit letter to return to his hometown. However, from the past six days, he had gone missing from the cafeteria, and there was no clue of his whereabouts in Saudi Arabia.
His mother Sabira, wife of late K Moidin Khan, has appealed to Udupi-Chikmagalur M P K Jayaprakash Hegde help her son reach home safely.
A humble appeal
