Udupi, May 13: Toppers normally get cent percent marks in Mathematics and Science subjects in SSLC examinations. But, scoring full marks in Kannada language is very rare.
However, a twin sister from Kundapur in the coastal district of Udupi, have achieved this uncommon feat thanks to their commitment and dedication.

Mustan and Melak, the twin druthers of Shaikh Adam and Shakira Banu couple from Vaderahobli T T Road in Kundapur are the achievers.
They are the students of Kundapur Sarojini Mahishi High school. Having secured 125 out of 125 in first language Kannada, both the sisters have surprised even their teachers and parents.
Mustan has scored 125 in Kannada, 97 in Hindi, 95 in Mathematicss, 97 in Science, 89 in Social and 88 in English with a total of 591(94%). Melak has scored 125 in Kannada, 95 in Hindi, 89 in Mathematics, 95 in Science, 91 in Social and 87 in English with a total of 582(93%).
They expressed gratitude to their Kannada teacher Nagarathna, whose guidance helped them to score high marks in the examination.
Both the students are willing to opt science stream and join same college. “We want to become doctors,” say the twin sisters.
