Karwar, May 28: In the mysterious death of an undertrail kept in the district jail in Karwar, locals have expressed suspicion alleging that the undertrail had been killed by his fellow mates inside the jail, owing to the wounds and injury marks found on him when his body was found by the authorities.
The deceased undertrial is Lokesh Prabhakar Naik (39), resident of Shiravada in Karwar taluk.
