Mysuru, May 24: Former chief minister H?D?Kumaraswamy on Monday said a dalit woman who had been to meet chief minister Siddaramaiah during his janata darshan in Bengaluru on May 17 was humiliated.?
The JD(S)?leader said that the High Ground police in Bengaluru had stated the woman was found to be suspicious and was thus sent to a rehabilitation centre. “The government seems to be forcing women to take to flesh trade,” said Kumaraswamy.

Without taking the name of Governor?Vajubai Vala, Kumaraswamy demanded a probe into the latter's weekly sojourn' to his home state of Gujarat. Nobody knows what does he take home from Karnataka. He is here for business and not for people's welfare,” he remarked.
Kumaraswamy said he has convened a meeting of the JD(S)?leaders in Bengaluru on May 26 to select the party's candidate for the Rajya Sabha elections from the state.
Commenting on the media reports that Karnataka Pradesh Congress Committee President G?Parameshwara had shed tears over Congress' poor show in the assembly elections in Tamil?Nadu, Kerala, West Bengal and Assam, Kumaraswamy said “Parameshwara may have shed tears fearing similar results in the state in the coming assembly polls.'
