Chandigarh, Jul 25: Punjab Police on Sunday night arrested AAP MLA Naresh Yadav who has been booked in connection with the alleged Malerkotla sacrilege incident of Quran on June 24.

“We arrested AAP MLA Naresh Yadav from his house in Delhi. He will be produced in a Malerkotla court on Monday,” Punjab Police, IG (Patiala Zone), Paramraj Singh Umra Nangal said.

He said a team of Punjab police was dispatched to Delhi to arrest Yadav.

Nangal said an arrest warrant was procured from a Malerkotla court to arrest Yadav.

Yadav has been booked under relevant sections of the IPC after one of the accused, Vijay Kumar, arrested in connection with the incident, claimed he had done it at the behest of the AAP MLA.

He has been charges with IPC sections 109 (punishment for abetment if the act abetted is committed in consequence and where no express provision is made for its punishment), 153A (promoting enmity between different groups on grounds of religion, race, place of birth etc and doing acts prejudicial to maintenance of harmony), 295 (injury or defiling place of worship with an intent to insult the religion of any class).

Yadav before his arrest had described the police action against him as a “conspiracy.”

“When I had told police that I was available for questioning any time then why I am being arrested,” he said, adding that police procured the arrest warrant on the accusations of an “RSS man”.

Dear OBSERVER,

Your observation is wrong. Either you did not read QURAN. or YOU are DUMB or worst than that.
Read QURAN online (I will help YOU - Visit Quranproject OR G,) and tell me what is there in the Quran which is against humanity or even the animals... or just find out what it says about killing an innocent human being...
We Muslims can find a lot of descretion in other scriptures, but we are taught by the prophet (Muhammad pbuh) of ALLAH not to do so... Cos the illiterate in the knowledge of ALLAH (God) will say things out of their IGNORANCE...
Please know QURAN introduces U to know who is our CREATOR?
what is the purpose of LIFE?
Who is worthy of Worship?
What will happen when we DIE?
How God will RESURRECT us all to JUDGE that has happened in this LIFE which he has given us in the first place.

If U did not read QURAN, Dont make this non sense comment without knowledge. Either read it to understand or just keep mum.
Your ignorance may lead you to regret in later part of your LIFE..

THINK and PONDER.

Madikeri, May 11: Kodagu police have apprehended the man allegedly responsible for the brutal murder of a minor girl within the confines of Kumbaragadige village in Karnataka's Somwarpet taluk.

Kodagu Superintendent of Police, K Ramarajan, disclosed that the arrested individual is Prakash (32) from Hammiyala village in Somwarpet taluk. However, authorities are still in the process of recovering the severed head of the victim. The perpetrator had absconded with the victim's severed head after committing the crime.

Search operations for the suspect commenced late on Thursday night (May 9), with officials diligently pursuing leads. Acting on information suggesting the suspect's presence in a forested area near the village, the police swiftly moved in and apprehended him.

The victim US Meena, 15, a student of Surlabbi High School, had passed the SSLC examinations, the results of which were announced on May. One same day, she was murdered.

Reportedly, the engagement of the minor girl with the suspect was thwarted by officials from the Women and Child Development department. Subsequently, officials persuaded the girl's parents against proceeding with the marriage.

However, despite these interventions, the suspect forcibly entered her residence during the night, purportedly abducted her, and later perpetrated the heinous crime in a wooded area on the outskirts of the forest, before absconding with her severed head.
