Bengaluru CCTV captures woman being molested despite wearing full clothes

January 4, 2017

New Delhi, Jan 4: The incidence of mass molestation which occurred in Bengaluru city on the night of New Year's Eve has certainly highlighted the need for change in the mentality of men instead of lifestyle choices made by women. However, SP'S Azmi claims that the incidence occurred because of 'half-clothed women'.

Now, a CCTV footage recovered from Bengaluru registers a chilling account of how unsafe women truly are in the city. Around 2:30 AM on Sunday after the mass molestation created havoc on New Year's Eve, a woman was forcefully groped by bike-borne men near Kammanahalli 5th Main Road in east Bengaluru.

In the CCTV footage, a woman can be seen getting off an autorickshaw in a residential area. In the moments that follow, two bike-borne men stop the girl as one man openly gropes at the woman who puts up a fierce resistance. The attacker then tries to drag the woman towards his friend. However, when the woman continues to resist the attackers, the two miscreants flee the scene.

The woman who was attacked by the molesters said that her purse was snatched by the attackers. A case has been registered and police are conducting preliminary investigations into the matter.

On 31st December, women attendees at a mass New Year's Eve gathering in Bengaluru were sexually molested and attacked by groups of men while police became mute spectators in the chaos. Karnataka Home Minister G Parameshwara said that these incidents happen because women try to copy western culture.

Very unfortunate. However, women in India will never be safe at late hours no matter if she is with male compatriots. Only solution is to maintain her modesty first and foremost, secondly severe punishment for the culprits.

2:30 am and a lonely girl partying late and returning. Even though what happened with her is regrettable, but she can avoid such awkward incidents if she had accompanied with a blood relatives of her like brother, uncle etc. Don't blame the world when you are giving easy opportunities to wild dogs roaming in the nights.

2.30 am ( night) a single lady and a new year night going out
then blaming drunken youngsters and police ???
Even Sri Ram could not protect his own wife (kidnapped by Rawan),
how can you expect police to cover entire Bangalore city to protect
a crazy women who is going single in the late night.

It was warned by the Prophet Mohammed in 1400 years ago , that a ladies should not go alone , she must accompany her blood relatives in some places and circumstances.

This is the result of inviting problem.
Why should they stay until such a longer time.

Why not possible to celebrate in the next morning,
Is it necessary for you to celebrate immediately, it can wait until the morning.

Mangaluru, May 4: The Mangaluru International Airport was besieged with a harrowing message of terror recently, when an email, purportedly from malevolent elements, menacingly declared the planting of bombs within the airport premises.

Addressed to the office of the airport authority, the missive, steeped in ominous overtones, bore the ominous signature of a terrorist faction, ominously named 'Terrorizers 111'.

The communication, disseminated in English, ominously detailed the clandestine emplacement of explosives in areas eluding facile detection, accompanied by a chilling warning of their imminent detonation. The threat, ominously looming over not only the infrastructure but also the airborne vessels, portended a catastrophic deluge of bloodshed and loss.

In response to this dire communiqué, airport authorities swiftly engaged the apparatus of law enforcement, dispatching urgent alerts to the vigilant guardians of public safety. Acting upon the dictates of higher echelons, a formal dossier of this menacing correspondence was meticulously compiled, cloaked in the veil of confidentiality to thwart any premature dissemination.

Mangaluru International Airport found itself in grim camaraderie with more than 30 counterparts under the aegis of the Airport Authority of India (AAI) and private domains, all recipients of this chilling electronic diatribe. A comprehensive net of precautionary measures was swiftly cast, fortifying the bastions of security in anticipation of any nefarious designs lurking within the shadows.

Mangaluru International Airport (MIA) has taken a step towards enhancing aircraft safety and has planned to install a Precision Approach Lighting (PAL) category 1 system near Sri Kordabbu Daivasthana, Unile.

The groundbreaking ceremony was held on Friday. The project involves various works related to the PAL system and aims to be completed in 20 months.

The airport has undertaken this project in accordance with safety recommendations from the ministry of civil aviation and the civil aviation safety and security regulator. The PAL CAT 1 system will provide pilots with improved visibility of runway 24 and guidance during their final landing approach. The system will be installed 900m from the threshold of runway 24, as this end of the runway accounts for 90% of aircraft landings at the airport.

The PAL will be mounted on approximately 18 lattice structures, which is a unique feature of the project. The lights will be fixed to frangible T-shaped structures. The project will complement the installation of runway centerline lights, which has already been completed and is awaiting approval from the Directorate General of Civil Aviation for commissioning.

Hassan MP and Lok Sabha election candidate of the BJP-JD(S) alliance Prajwal Revanna, who is facing an inquiry over the alleged sexual abuse of several women, said the truth will prevail.

The MP, who left the country as soon as the election to his constituency ended, has also sought seven days' time to appear before the Special Investigation Team (SIT) formed by the Karnataka government to inquire into the huge cache of about 3,000 explicit videos and photos allegedly pertaining to him, which have gone viral on social media.

“As I am not in Bangalore to attend the enquiry, I have communicated to CID Bangalore through my advocate. Truth will prevail soon,” Prajwal, grandson of former prime minister and JD(S) patriarch H D Deve Gowda, said in a post on X.

A case has been registered against MLA and former minister H D Revanna and his son Prajwal at Holenarasipura on a complaint lodged by their former cook and relative for allegedly sexually harassing her.

She also alleged that Prajwal made video calls to her daughter and spoke in an objectionable manner, which forced her to block him.

The MP who is seeking re-election from Hassan on a JD(S) ticket, shared a letter by his lawyer Arun G to the Deputy Superintendent of Police of the SIT, in which he has sought seven days' time to appear before the official because he is abroad.
