Mangaluru, Jan 4: The Department of Commerce, St Agnes College, Mangaluru on Wednesday organisedPersona- 2017', a one-day national level workshop on Personality Development .
Dr Smitha Jesudasan, Asst. Professor, St Fransis Institute of Management and Research, Mumbai, who was the chief guest at the inaugural session, gave a pep talk to students and spoke on how to be successful in life.
She urged the students to prioritize their goals and utilize their skills. “Don't get confused on your goal. The minute you are in confusion, the person behind you, will take your position,” she said.
She said that instead of covering ones weakness she should improve herself and overcome her weakness. “Students should take care of three things in life, i.e., knowledge, skill and attitude,” she stressed.
Dr Devi Prabha Alva, Head, Department of Commerce, D.P. Varsha and Jane Pauline Monteiro, Assistant Professors were present among others.
Students from various colleges took part in the work shop that comprised of four technical sessions, aptitude test and guidance to face interviews.
