Belagavi, Apr 21: Karnataka Pradesh Congress Committee (KPCC) women’s wing president Lakshmi Hebbalkar said on Thursday that her opponents were resorting to black magic against her.

blackmagicMany times, items used for the practice were thrown near her residence and the same were noticed on Thursday too, she told reporters here.

After the previous Assembly elections, during new moon and full moon days, lemons, ash, turmeric, vermilion, coconuts and other things used in black magic were thrown near her residence and particularly, at the gate of her house at Kuvempu Nagar here. “We do not believe in such practices, but it affects our mental peace. We do not know who has been doing it and for what reason,” she said.
