Mangaluru: Bajrang Dal leader Jagadish Suvarna found dead

Mangaluru, Apr 21: A Bajran Dal leader was found dead under mysterious circumstance near the mouth-of-estuary at Bengre in Manglauru on Friday.

convenorThe deceased has been identified as Jagadish Suvarna (35) son of Anand Suvarna. It is learnt that he was the convenor of the Bengre unit of Bajrgan Dal.

Jagadish had gone missing after he left home on Thursday night to attend a mehendi function in the vicinity. On Friday his body was found lying near the estuary.

It is yet to be ascertained whether it is a case of murder or suicide. However, it is said that an injury mark was there on his head.

The police rushed to the spot and shifted the dead body to Government Wenlock Hospital for post-mortem.

Jagdish, who was working for BMS passenger boat, was an active member of Bajrang Dal for past several years.

A case was registered at Panambur police station and investigations are on.
