Madina, Aug 31: Hajj is one of the five pillars of Islam. Several pilgrims have left their hometowns to perform their life’s most awaited ritual. More than 130 pilgrims have boarded to the world’s beautiful city Madina on august 27, 2014. Indian Hajis were given a warm welcome by the social service organization, India Fraternity Forum (IFF) and were helped to get their baggage to their accommodation.

IFF is engaged in this noble service of helping the hajis for the past 11 years.IFF had contributed more than 1000 volunteers for the service of HAJIS in the year 2013.Office bearers of IFF had fielded volunteers from various parts of Saudi Arabia in order to extend their help to hajj pilgrims. The volunteers cordially received pilgrims who reached Jeddah and Madina Airports from various parts of India. In the last phase of the Hajj, a huge number of volunteers were deployed in holy places like Arafa, Mina, Muzdalifah and Jamrath. Wearing blue T-shirts and the saffron-coloured jackets, these volunteers were in action at the holy sites forming the largest expatriate volunteer group.

Like the previous years, India Fraternity Forum will be engaging more than 1,000 volunteers this year for the service of pilgrims in Arafa, Mina, Muzdalifah and Jamrath . Hajj Coordinator of IFF Mudassar explained the various features of the Volunteer Service of the Forum by dedicating volunteers in Makkah, Madina and Jeddah airports.
