Jeddah: IFF organizes seminar on ‘Muslims of Karnataka and Media’

Jeddah: India Fraternity Forum (IFF) organized a seminar on ‘Muslims of Karnataka and Media’ at Fraternity House, Sharafiyah, Jeddah recently.

Addressing the participants, Abdul Razak Kemmar, sub editor of Prastutha fortnightly and State Executive Member of Popular Front of India, urged the Muslims for unity. He also threw light on the contributions made by Muslim community to the nation.

Abdul Majeed Vittla in his presidential address said that many media groups have adopted double standard against the Muslims. He said that Muslims must politically empower themselves.

Mohammed Rafiq Matta, I.F.F General Secretary, western region, and Mustafa, Member, Western Region Council were present.

Tufail, member, western region council, compered the event. Mustafa, member, western region council, welcomed the gathering and Ismail Kalladka, member, western region council, proposed the vote of thanks.

Ajman: Ashok Bai Baria (44), a resident of Valsad - Ahmedabad, succumbed to a heart attack in Ajman. 

The incident occurred on March 13 morning at his residence, following which he experienced severe physical distress leading to the fatal cardiac arrest. 

Fishing has been a longstanding activity in Ajman- UAE, with Baria being actively involved in the profession for many years. 

Salam Pappinissery, CEO of Yab Legal Services in the UAE, has informed that all necessary arrangements are underway to repatriate the deceased's body to his hometown.
