Kuwait City: The alleged installation of Ganesh Idol in the premises of Indian Embassy in Kuwait by the authorities is a serious threat to the country’s secular values and the diversity of the Indians living in Kuwait, said Kuwait India Fraternity Forum.

“BJP led Indian government is promoting communalism, hatred and saffronisation for political gains in all institutions. The attitude of embassy authorities has proved their commitment to serve for their communal masters of RSS,” the KIFF said in a release.

“The Indian embassy which is supposed to work for the interest of all Indian expats in Kuwait, is actually harming them by providing room for anti-socialist outfits like RSS and its expat organizations, which are clear threat to the nation and its people,” it said.

Such a move by the diplomatic mission creates mistrust among the citizens living in Kuwait. Embassy should restrain from such acts, said the release.
