Riyadh: Shamsuddin Mulki is new President of Mangaluru Cricket Association

Riyadh: Mangaluru Cricket Association, Riyadh (MCA) conducted its 1st Annual General Body meeting to elect office- bearers for the year 2016. Shamsuddin Mulki was re-elected as president of MCA, Riyadh for the year 2016.The event was conducted in a Community Hall (Isthrah) at Exit 18, Al Kharj Road, Riyadh on Thursday, 3rd March.

The meeting was conducted by Mr. Riyaz. Chief guests Mr. Yunus, Mr. Abubakar Padubidri.

The newly elected President Shamsuddin Mulki emphasized the importance of playing cricket and explained how things changed drastically after MCA, Riyadh was formed a year ago.

Mr. Sarfraz, Mr. Sheikh Abbas, Mr. Rajesh, & Mr. Sateesh were the other guests.

Mr. Riyaz made a PowerPoint presentation with complete picture of MCA, the aims and objectives, achievements and its future plans, including financial Report for the year 2015.

MCA, Riyadh facilitated seven umpires for their contribution to Riyadh Cricket. Mr. Abubakar Kannangar and his team were honored with “The Best Tournament Conduct” award for the year 2015. Prestigious “Player of the Year 2015” award was given to Mr. Dawood Kodi from Seven Star.

MCA President thanked everybody for their full support. After the conclusion of the meeting, 30 yard cricket was organized from 13 MCA Members Team and 1 President XI team. Raisco Friends were the Champions & Eagle Riyadh were the Runner-up.
