Dammam: The MFC champions trophy-2016, organised by the Mangalore Friends’ Circle (MFC) Cricket Club has got underway at Sabsa ground, Rakha here.
The inaugural match was played between UP Friends and KCC Dammam on April 22 as per the schedule in front of a large crowd.
13 Teams were eliminated from the tournament in 1st Week.
Group A: Swadesh qualified for Semi Final by beating ICC in First Round, BRT in Pre Quarter Final & Khobar Lions in Quarter Final.
Group B: SASP Qualified for Quarter Final by Beating BMC in First Round and Samcon in Pre Quarter Final.
Group C: Master Striker Qualified for Quarter Final by beating Dammam Warriors in Pre Quarter Final & Khobar United Qualified for Quarter Final By beating pioneer and MFC.
Group D: Amaco Qualified for Quarter final by beating Warriors in First Round and DCC in Pre Quarter Final
To witness the quarterfinals, Semi Final & finals the organizers are expecting bigger crowd of spectators as players from the expatriates of Indian, Pakistan, Sri Lanka and Bangladesh are participating.
The closing ceremony will held on 29th April 2016 at 4:30 p.m.
