Karwar, July 7: Two youths drowned in Arabian sea at Vannalli beach in Kumta taluk on Friday evening.
The victims were identified as Venugopal alias Sunny (22) of Kudtagibail and Lohit (20) of Sosanamakki at Valagalli.
They were standing on the beach and a big wave hit them and they were washed away, it is said.
The police were trying to locate the body. Kumta police are investigating the case.
