Painter falls to death from fourth floor

Mangalore, July 19: A worker died after he slipped from the fourth floor of an under construction multi-storyed residential complex in Kodailbail on Wednesday.

 

The diseased has been identified as Kamruddin (26), a painter, hailing from Imphal.

 

According to the police Kamruddin fell down while he was doing work in the “C” block of the residential complex around 1 p.m. Kamruddin had multiple head and shoulder injuries. He died before he could reach the nearby private hospital, the police said.

 

A case has been registered at Mangalore East Station.

We have number of institutes in Mangalore where 100s of Fire & Safety officers get trained and qualified every year. Unfortunately, we do not have any safety measures anywhere which is very disgusting.
