Mangalore, September 11: In a gut-wrenching tragedy a young boy was crushed to death under a moving train at Kollangere near Ullal on the outskirts of the city on Tuesday.
The deceased has been identified as Zubair (12). He was a class VII student at Patla School in Talapady.
The incident occurred while he was crossing the railway track.
A case has been registered at jurisdictional police station.
