Bengaluru, Nov 30: The JDS-Congress Coordination Committee Chairman Siddaramaiah today said that the Committee will be meeting on December 5, and Karnataka Pradesh Congress Committee (KPCC) President Dinesh Gundu Rao expressed confidence of the much awaited Cabinet expansion taking place before December 10.
Speaking to newsmen here on Friday, Mr Siddaramaiah said that the agenda of the meeting includes discussion on Cabinet expansion, appointment of Chairman and Presidents for various Boards and Corporations.
Replying to a question, the former Chief Minister said that Chief Minister H D Kumaraswamy and Legislators of both the parties will be invited to the meeting and listen to MLAs grievences.
Mr Siddaramaiah said that the Congress Legislative Party meeting will be held on December 8 to chalkout strategies to be adopted to face the Opposition BJP during the Winter Session scheduled to be held at Suvarna Soudha, Belagavi from December 10 to 21.
Speaking to newsmen at KPCC office, Mr Gundu Rao said that the Cabinet expansion will take place before December 10 and CLP meeting will be held on December 8.
