Bengaluru, Aug 26: Chief minister B S Yediyurappa has issued directions to the Officials to withdraw cases filed against the Farmers, facing criminal charges for having participated in various agitations against the State Government in the recent past.
The Chief Minister, who had met a delegation of the various organisations of the Karnataka Farmers Associations here on Monday, issued directions to the officials to withdraw cases which were filed against the farmers on various occasions.
Responding to the plea made by the farmers’ leaders, he assured that the officials will examine the issue and take measures to withdraw criminal cases filed against the farmers, who were involved in various agitations.
